Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Northern Areas, Pakistan

7 cm black schorl tourmaline crystal with overgrowth of translucent colorless herderite crystals to 9 mm. Very good herderite crystals. Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-9 mm.
