Dark green hornblende crystals in schist matrix with scattered iron garnets. With old label with the name: Tyrolia-Lermittel. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970). Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 3-30 mm.

Here are 2 specimens of Hornblend on some Pink Calcite. The left sample is 5 cm long, by 3.2 cm wide and 2.7 cm deep. The right sample is 6.7 cm long by 4 cm wide, and 3.8 cm deep. The samples were found at Bear Lake Diggings, Ontario. From M. Adamowicz collection.
