Hydrocerussite : Pb3(CO3)2(OH)2, Galena : PbS, Fluorite : CaF2

Yellowish coating of Hydrocerussite (analyzed) on an octahedral crystal of galena, surrounded by green crystals of fluorite. Quite an attractive specimen - although it's only rotten galena. Field width: 1.7 cm. P Haas photograph and collection (no. 53-024).

A 4.8 by 3.8 cms group of Fluorite crystals with a thick white weathering coat of Hydrocerussite [not analyzed] on primary Galena. JSS specimen and photograph.
