This cabinet sized specimen is LOADED with joaquinite crystals! Well over 500 of them are generously sprinkled over this rock! There are also over a dozen well terminated neptunite crystals and even a couple of small 3-5 mm benitoite crystals. For reference the field of view of the photo is about 2.5 cm. The whole rock measures 11 cm across.

For those who know what they are looking at, this piece should be appreciated...it is thought to host one of the largest known crystals of Joaquinite , to a hair over 3 mm in size! That sharp crystal sits front and center on the matrix for nice display. It is, really, an amazing piece (if admittedly esoteric) and I do not think such a specimen ...
