Alluvial gold mine, Carapooee, Victoria, Australia

From Carapooee, pinkish crystal fragments of andalusite, hand-sorted from heavy mineral concentrates. Moderately abraded but retaining crystal outlines. There is some yellowish colouration due to iron staining. Field of view: 22mm.
