Anhydrite : CaSO4

Ischler Salzberg, Perneck, Bad Ischl, Upper Austria, Austria

An old, attractive specimen of peach-colored anhydrite collected from a noted find in 1965, and very rare for the locality. Very difficult to find today and this is a large specimen to boot. For the species, it’s a pretty significant piece. As pure color on the shelf, it aint bad either! 10 x 9 x 5 cm
