Wheal Gorland, St Day United Mines (Poldice Mines), Gwennap area, Camborne - Redruth - St Day District, Cornwall, England, UK This specimen measures 2.3cm x 1.3cm x 1.3cm and is comprised almost entirely of liroconite with just a small amount of matrix sandwiched in between. The main display face hosts numerous sharp, lustrous crystals ranging in size up to 6mm. The main crystal also appears to be twinned. The more massive area also hosts several crystalline areas. |
