Magnussonite : Mn10As6O18(OH,Cl)2, Pyrobelonite : PbMn2+[OH|VO4]

Magnussonite : Mn10As6O18(OH,Cl)2, Hausmannite : MnMn2O4, Calcite : CaCO3

Långban, Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden

Dark green grains (with some crude faces, though) of magnussonite, a Mn arsenite with Cu admixture giving its a typical colour. The magnussonite formula resembles a bit the one of apatites in 'conctruction', but the structure is of higher symmetry. The mineral grows in hausmannite-calcite matrix. Field of view is 2.3 mm.
