Demix-Varennes quarry, Saint-Amable sill, Varennes & St-Amable, Lajemmerais RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada FOV ~ 13 x 13 mm. Found July 1998. Manganoneptunite is common at STA. But the xls are generally tiny and very dark - almost black (as in this photo). This is part of a small miaroliric cavity exceptionally rich in the mineral.
