Mohawk Mine (Clark Station Mine; Pactolus Mine; Wilshire prospect), Mohawk Hill, Pactolus, Clark Mountain District, Clark Mts, San Bernardino Co., California, USA Massicot pseudomorph after Cerussite. The Cerussite is decarboxylating when heated. [Note: The specimen was not analysed but the colour shown by the photo is a bit too dark, and the specimen also contains some more yellow crystals, implying that these pseudomorphs could be a mixture of Lead-Oxides, including Massicot, Litharge and ...
