Heavy specimen of metallic maucherite with minor barite crystals. Several cavities show crystal faces where calcite filling was dissolved away. With old label from Wards. Ex. Robert C. Linck (1905-1970). Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x7x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.

Nice specimen of black Maucherite on Nickeline from the Type Locality.
Some minor Baryte crystals are visible on the back of the piece.
Ex Humboldt museum and Gilbert Gauthier spcimen.

Grey Maucherite (reddish grey, difficult to see in the picture) and light copper red Nickeline from the Clotilde shaft (Clotilde Schacht) at Eisleben.
The Clotilde shaft operated from 1902 until 1964 and was renamed in 1950 in Max-Lademann shaft.

Eisleben, Mansfeld Basin, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany

A 4x6 cm specimen with grey Maucherite and minor rosy Niccoline with a black swath of Pitchblende, all in Barite from the type locality. There are cavities in the piece with tiny tetragonal Maucherite xls.

Below there is the original label in the hand of Wilhelm Maucher after whom the species was named
