Metacinnabar : HgS, Dolomite : CaMg(CO₃)₂
	Magnesite mine, Inschlag Alp, Schwarzleograben, Hütten, Leogang, Saalfelden, Salzburg, Austria Picture width is 5mm. Dark red to black crystals of Metacinnabar on Dolomite. The Dolomite looks unusual, but this type of crystals is well known from this location. Depth of field is achieved with CombineZM.

	Contra Costa Co., California, USA Gray quartz matrix coated one side with scattered black metacinnabar crystals up to 2 mm. Under magnification the crystals are complex, rounded shapes. With old label from the Thurstons. Ex. Al Sebela collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-2 mm.
