I suspect the silky red balls at the base are ultrafine Hematite concretions. Self collected. |

Chuquicamata District, Calama, El Loa Province, Antofagasta Region, Chile This specimen consists of a tight group of parallel associated, almost fibrous, Antlerite crystals. The crystals have intense slightly bluish green color and an attractive chatoyance. Ex. Webb Collection. Crystal size is .93cm x .74cm x .48cm. |
