Antlerite : Cu3[(OH)4|SO4]

Mount Oxide Copper mine, Mount Gordon, Gunpowder District, Mt Isa - Cloncurry area, Queensland, Australia

A pristine twinned Antlerite crystal of less than 0.2mm (material analysed by single-crystal XRD). I suspect the silky red balls at the base are ultrafine Hematite concretions.
Self collected.
