	Allies Mine (Allies Molybdenite and Bismuth Mines; Allies Molybdenite; Allies and Manbundi Mine), Deepwater, Gough Co., New South Wales, Australia A very large, super-bright crystal of molybdenite from old finds in Australia! The hexagonal form of the crystal is quite clear here, which is rather rare, especially for such a large crystal. Molybdenite forms in super-thin sheets due to its atomic structure, with the atoms lining up on a single plane. 8.8 x 5.1 x 1.7cm
