Buckwheat Pit (Southwest Opening; Buckwheat Mine), Franklin, Franklin Mining District, Sussex Co., New Jersey, USA

Monohydrocalcite - tiny translucent green organic looking blebs and drips up to 3 mm within a bed of tiny white acicular crystals on a 9 x 6 cm matrix of red microcline feldspar and black allanite blades. Collected by C. O'Neill in October 2004 at the Buckwheat Dump.
