This is the centerpiece of my Montana Agate collection and acquired from Harmon's Agate & Silver in Crane, Montana. It combines the beautiful moss and red banding in the same specimen and is extremely rare in this size (10.5 x 8.2 x 1.0 cm)

Method Obtained: Dug with a dozer in the pit during the digging season (OFF LIMITS!!!)

Transparency: Some parts are semi-transparent and others are opaque

A 4.5cm section of a thunderegg. The chalcedony hosts 2 different forms of "moss" the creamy-tan coral structures with solid dark tan centers, and the red stringy mass at the lower right of the specimen.
