Here is a large fragment of light almost clear yellow Scapolite from Cardiff Uranium. It was located after the rehabilitation machinery removed some dump material. The crystals shows a number of faces & is fairly gemmy, there is a small amount of mica on one side. Most of the piece was covered by calcite which was removed. It is 12.1 x 11.5 x 10.2 ...

Here is a nice sample of two Grey Scapolite crystals on green Augite with a bit of white calcite near the bottom. The main Scaploite crystal is 4 cm long. The overall sample is 8.2 cm long, 4.1 cm wide, and 3.2 cm tall. From M. Adamowicz collection.
