Labuntsovite overgrowth on Elpidite. Notice the main crystal's u-shaped growth beyond it's attachment on the Elpidite xl. I found it quite interesting.

3.6 x 3.0 x 2.5 cm. Labuntsovite is a very rare hydrated, titanium, niobium silicate found in unusual alkaline massifs, such as on the Kola Peninsula of Russia or the famous Mt. St-Hilaire of Quebec. Lustrous, orange-brown crystals to 3 mm are richly scattered on a well-placed vug on this fine specimen from the Khibiny Massif of Russia. This came ...
