Under magnification distinct crystals are easily seen. Originally collected by Ray and Alvin Schortmann ca. 1938-40. Ex. R. D. O'Donnell collection #F-36. Ruggles mine, Grafton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA A small specimen of brilliant yellow uranium secondaries, probably largely phospuranylite and autunite, on quartz matrix. Tiny elongated crystals are visible under magnification in some areas and phosphuranylite is also present on the reverse of the piece. The specimen shows weak green fluorescence in some areas.
