A sharp miniature with a 3 cm poly rosette perched delicately atop a sheaf of parallel serandite crystals. One of the nicest mini''s in the lot I saw, from the new finds of early this summer. 4 x 4 x 3 cm

Pearly hexagonal polylithionite crystals to 13 mm with elongated black aegirine crystals to 1 cm. A rare mineral for this locality. Fluoresces yellow-white under UV illumination. Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x15x12 mm. Size of individual crystals: 4-12 mm.

Polylithionite with Serandite from Poudrette Quarry, Mont St Hilaire, Rouville County, Québec

Polylithionite is normally not a great looking mineral. In this case the spray of crystals, nice pearly color, and the Serandite matrix make it appealing. It is an undamaged floater. A nice sample of an uncommon mineral.
