Width of field is 3.2 mm. Collection of Jesse Crawford. The depth of field has been enhanced using Helicon Focus (14 exposures). Equipment: Nikon D-100 on a homemade microscope.

With sharp bronzed crystals of this classic European classic, we have here a superb miniature! The crystals rech 9 mm in size and display prominently on matrix of minutely crystallized pyrosmalite. All crystals are pristine save a small , teeny tiny chip on the left edge of the upper crystal (and it look shistoric, not recent, this little ding). ...
