Keystone Trap Rock Quarry, Cornog, Wallace Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, USA

Pyrrhotite specimens from Pennsylvania are quite rare and this is an exceptional example indeed. This specimen hosts a single 2.55cm Pyrrhotite crystal with complex faces and characteristic brassy metallic hue. This specimen has been repaired, but it is not noticeable. Specimen size is 5.6cm x 5.14cm x 3.8cm.
