Poudrette quarry (Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Desourdy quarry), Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada FOV 3.8 x 2.6 mm. Modris B. coll (ex JPB). From an analyzed find with steenstrupine-(Ce), lovozerite group etc. The raite color in this find varied greatly but it was determined to be all raite (no yofortierite). The raite is unusually enriched in Zn however. |
