Kara-Oba W deposit, Betpakdala Desert (Bet-Pak-Dal Desert), Qaraghandy Oblysy (Karaganda Oblast'), Kazakhstan

Yellow microcrystalline masses of russellite in cavities (formed during wolframite dissolution) in quartz vein from the Western part of the deposit. FOV is ~5x3.5 cm. Collected by Lidia P. Ermilova 25 September of 1953 on vein #75 of the deposit. Pavel M. Kartashov collection and photo.
