Rather compact aggregates of rutherfordine from classical european uranium locality. Some brigh yellow crystals possibly represent another secondary U mineral. Field of view is 1.2 mm. Jiri Spalek specimen - thanks!

Nice colour combo specimen from Shinkolobwe.

2.5 x 2.0 x 0.7 cm. Here we have a small specimen from the Shinkolobwe Mine which is richly covered with dark beige Rutherfordine crystal clusters in fan shaped form and yellow Uranophane. Crystallized Rutherfordine of this quality is known pretty much only from this mine. On both sides there are several well defined orange Billietite crystals up ...
