Small areas of dark appearing inclusions of stanfieldite, in troilite, containing chromite (CRT) and hematite (HEM) inclusions, with bright-white appearing schreibersite inclusions adjacent to chromite, from Finmarken pallasite Meteorite, found 1902, Alta, Finnmark, Norway.

Estherville meteorite, Emmet Co., Iowa, USA

Brown crystals of stanfieldite in a vug in the Estherville meteorite (mesosiderite A3/4). Associated with iron (variety kamacite, 7 wt.% Ni in this sample, the grains show cutting marks) and enstatite (grey, matrix). Analyzed material. Picture size 5 mm.
