Grains of dark-brown tanteuxenite-(Y) in pink microcline. Mineral was labeled as yttrotantalite-(Y), but its composition is ((Y.32REE.19).51Ca.23U.06Mn.02Th.01)0.83(Ti1.20Ta.48Fe.26Nb.06)2.00O4.59(OH)1.41.
So the mineral belong to euxenite group, and its proper name is tanteuxenite-(Y) or even tantalpolycrase-(Y). FOV is ~3x2.5 cm. Collected by ...
