The poor aegirine "sea urchin" (green) looks as if it has a horrible disease. The terskite "warts" are crude dodecahedra after an unknown precursor. Two stereo child photos, one a close up. |

Shkatulka pegmatite, Umbozero mine, Alluaiv Mt, Lovozero Massif, Kola Peninsula, Murmanskaja Oblast', Northern Region, Russia White rims of secondary terskite replacing crystals of orange-brown eudyalite in aegirine matrix. This terskite has bright green SW UV fluorescention. Associating minerals are brown tabular crystals of lamprophyllite and grey waxy grains of hackmanite (with bright orange SW UV fluorescention) pseudomorphoses after nepheline.
