A single terminated crystal of gem topaz. Very clear slight veil in centre and fissure into one face. Very nice termination and pale sherry colour. The absolute weight of this piece is 30g.

A single matrix free crystal of gem topaz. Perfectly terminated the crystal is very pale sherry coloured - there is a small amount of "crazing" at the attachment point on the base of the crystal and one small "dink" on the lower shoulder.Listed on eBay 13 August 2002 - Reserve Price = $40 - Item Ref: 2131046765

Darra-i-Pech (Darra-e-Pech) Pegmatite Field, Nangarhar (Ningarhar) Province, Afghanistan

TOPAZ, with Lepidolite, Elbaite & Cleavelandite, Pech, Kunar Province, Afghanistan. A 12x9x4 cm plate of cleavelandite and lepidolite with two 3 cm pale blue chisel-shaped topaz crystals projecting upward from the front. Numerous small green tourmaline crystals, and several small topaz crystals are scattered about the front of the specimen.

Gorgeous specimen of light blue Topaz sitting atop Feldspar with Tourmaline!
Toss in some scattered pink Lepidolite and you have a super little specimen!
The blue Topaz is actually included by a few Lepidolite xls and measures 2.5 cm
in size with a picture perfect termination. The Tourmaline crystals are pink
tipped and green and many are ...

Topaz : Al2[(F,OH)2|SiO4]

Catamarca, Argentina

3.4 x 2.7 x 2.5 cm. A rather rare ARGENTINE topaz crystal, attractively accented with smoky quartz. The crystal is complete all around, with a good termination and striated side faces. The interior is quite gemmy.
