Lustrous brownish-green terminated crystals of vesuvianite to 20 mm long with partial 3 mm red grossular garnet. One crystal shows fracturing in place during metamorphization. Back is sawn flat. Personally collected. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3x1 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5020 mm.

Lustrous, green-brown vesuvianite crystals in massive vesuvianite matrix. One crystal is 5 cm long - large for the locality. With old label from John Albanese. Ex. John Albanese. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x4.5x4 cm. Size of individual crystals: 5-50 mm.

13 x 8 x 7 cm. Obtained many decades ago in a lucky find, this was long a treasured piece in the collection. It is a huge, symmetric, lustrous chocolate-brown, freestanding crystal of vesuvianite from this very important locality for the species that goes back in history. It is the kind of piece that you could see New England collectors fight ...
