Mibladen Mine, Mibladene (Mibladén; Mibladan; Miblanden), Upper Moulouya lead district, Midelt, Khénifra Province, Meknès-Tafilalet Region, Morocco 3.9 x 2.9 x 2.2 cm. Wulfenite of substantial quality actually came out of this mine in several small pockets, particularly in the early 1980s. This glistening, wet-lustre wulfenite is one such, perched on beautiful baryte for contrast. There are also a few small 1-3 mm crystals of cerussite and numerous green colored partial psuedomorphs of malachite after galena. Another pretty interesting little thumbnail specimen! |
