Poudrette quarry (Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Desourdy quarry), Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada Specimen is 4.6 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm. Modris B. coll (ex Ron Waddell. Found 1987) Wollastonite is one of the few minerals that does not form euhedral xls at MSH. This one is a lump of intergrown radiating prisms and blades, partly fibrous. Wollastonite is uncommon at MSH but probably not as rare as the paucity of specimens would suggest. |
