Khaldzan Buragtag massif, Altai Mts, Hovd Aimag (Khovd Aimag), Mongolia SEM image of medium bright in BSE section of Yttrialite-(Y) crystal embeded into dark Elpidite (K-Ca variety). Very small and the most bright inclusions are crystals of Fluornatropyrochlore (pyrochlore-(NaF)). Tommotskii Massif, Tommot river, Selennyakh range, Cherskii range system, Polar Yakutia, Saha Republic (Sakha Republic; Yakutia), Eastern-Siberian Region, Russia Black shining grains of yttrialite-(Y) in alkaline syenite matrix. Associated minerals are gadolinite-(Y), fergusonite-(Y) and tengerite-(Y). White veinlet of kamphaugite-(Y) is well visible. Specimen size 6x4x4 cm. Collected in early 60th. Pavel M.
