Lord Brassey Mine, Heazlewood district, Tasmania, Australia 8.0 x 3.5 x 2.6 cm. A rich, excellent and showy specimen of a two-toned green vein of zaratite, a RARE nickel carbonate, in serpentinite matrix from the Lord Brassey Mine of Tasmania. The darker microcrystals of emerald-green zaratite are next to light pastel-green platy zaratite. |
