Nasik quarry, Nasik District, Maharashtra, India

Single lustrous black complex crystal of babingtonite 5 mm long on colorless quartz crystals 1-2 mm long. One of the few babingtonite specimens I have seen from India, very rare. Ex. Sahno Collection. Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x3 cm. Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm.
