Width of field is 0.9 mm. Collection of Jesse Crawford. Equant crystals of Barbosalite. Depth of field is enhanced using Helicon Focus (3 exposures). Equipment is a Nikon D-100 on a homemade microscope.

Palermo No. 1 Mine (Palermo #1 pegmatite), Groton, Grafton Co., New Hampshire, USA

2.9 mm wide massive/botryoidal aggregate of barbosalite, somewhat resembling massive vivianite. Coexisting yellowish microcrystalline mineral is not yet determined. Jarek Skupniewski (Paleonet) specimen - thanks!
