La Sirena Mine, Guanajuato, Mun. de Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico A small but very fine crystallized example for this rare silver mineral! Sooty black somewhat skeletal prismatic terminated crystals of aguilarite to 7 mm in length are forming a sort of cluster around crystallized colorless calcite. Measures 15 x 10 x 10 mm in size overall and shows nicely all around. Only microscopic level chipping is present ... |

An excellent and showy old-time thumbnail specimen of sharp, lustrous aguilarite and stephanite crystals from the famous San Carlos Mine at Guanajuato, Mexico.
