Maralikha Au deposit, Rudnyi Altai, Shyghys Qazaqstan Oblysy (Vostochno-Kazakhstanskaya [Eastern-Kazakhstan] Oblast'), Kazakhstan SEM image. Crystaline crust of megascopicaly olive-green As-bearing beaverite transitive to beudantite. Beaverite crystals represented in this place of th crust by obtuse rhombohedrons. Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto (Oshikoto) Region, Namibia 4.5 x 3.7 x 2.9 cm. Beaverite is a rare sulfate worldwide, but is very rare at Tsumeb. This is a VERY RICH specimen of earthy, yellow-green beaverite encrusting matrix and nicely accented by a scattering of cerussite crystals.
