Vardak (Warkak; Wardak; Wardag; Wardagh; Maydan) Province, Afghanistan

Complex cluster of doubly-terminated quartz crystals intersecting at odd angles (hard to photograph). There appears to be two separate Faden-growth formations intergrown into one specimen. Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5x5 cm. Size of individual crystals: 2-5 cm.

Patagonia, Argentina

Water-clear, doubly-terminated quartz crystal fully crystallized on all surfaces (a floater). Has inclusions of black hydrocarbon and hollow voids with crystal faces (negative crystals). No damage. Collected in 1996 by Luis de los Santos. Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x20x20 mm. Size of individual crystals: 28 mm.

Pair of transparent Quartz xls with Chlorite inclusions. Golden specs - unknown, possibly Siderite.
Self collected 1964.
