Cucomungo Spring, Tule Canyon District, Esmeralda Co., Nevada, USA 2.9 x 1.8 x 1.1 cm. Aikinite is a relatively uncommon lead, copper, bismuth sulfosalt. This representative toenail is richly covered with metallic-bright, lead-gray, layered sheets of aikinite microcrystals and is from the much less common for the species Nevada locality of Cucomungo Spring in Esmeralda County.
