A 2 1/2x2 inch piece of white rhyolite is host to a couple of 1/4" cubes and a elongated crystal of bixbyite. In the Charles Creekmur collection.

A great example of Bixbyite with a single black cube exhibiting trisoctahedron corners, a mirror-like metallic lustre and measuring 1cm width, on a Rhyolite matrix surrounded by gemmy, pale pink, elongate Topaz crystals to 1cm length. The Bixbyite has no damage, and is a large crystal for Bixbyite, making this a fine specimen.

A cubic twin of Bixbyite is perched on rhyolite-included Topaz crystals in association with purple Fluorite. Specimen size is 3.35cm x 2.6cm x 2.06cm.

5.0 x 4.6 x 2.8 cm. A contrasting rhyolite matrix is the host for an unusual combination specimen. Splendent, jet-black crystals of bixbyite to 1.5 cm across are associated with gemmy, sherry-colored topaz crystals to 1.2 cm in length.
