Equipment Nikon D-100 digital camera on a homemade microscope. Prisms of mallestigite on matrix. Mallestigite looks remarkably like quartz, but it's softer.

	Mallestiger Mittagskogel Mt., Finkenstein, Karawanken Mts, Carinthia, Austria Hexagonal colourless crystals of mallestigite coexisting with white fibrous schultenite. The minerals occur in a specimen of massive barite and galena, partially covered by anglesite crusts. Field of view is 5 mm. Specimen obtained from Christian Auer - thanks!
