Sharp acicular crystals of this rare species, showing a pleasing and unusual pink color. They also have exceptionally high lustre. This is on eof the richest specimens of this style that I have seen amongst many South African collections over the years 7.6 x 6.5 x 3.9 cm

A very showy example of the more rare form of Bultfonteinite - mostly you see the acicular crystals or rounded balls of powdery crystals. This looks like crystallized willemite from Tsumeb, and is quite solid and different. And beautiful! 4.0 x 2.5 x 1.4 cm

5.8 x 5.4 x 2.3 cm. Lovely series of radial balls generously spread over the specimen. The individual needles range up to about 3 mm in length, and the luster is superb. The color ranges from silver to a pinkish-tan. Very delicate and aesthetic. Excellent for the rare species, in this habit.

7.2 x 3.8 x 2.2 cm. A lovely series of radial balls, on matrix, of this very rare species. The largest ball is complete and .8 cm across, with the individual needles ranging up to about 3-4 mm in length. The luster is superb, with the color ranging from silver to a pinkish-tan. 5.5 x 4.1 x 1 cm. A lovely series of radial aggregates completely covering the upper surface of the matrix. The individual needles range up to about 3 mm in length, and the luster is superb. The color ranges from silver to a pinkish-tan. Very delicate and aesthetic. Excellent for the rare species, in this habit. Ex. Charlie Key stock.

N'Chwaning Mines, Kuruman, Kalahari manganese fields, Northern Cape Province, South Africa

Rich Bultfonteinite (white needles)/Poldervaartite (cubic tan xls) paragenesis specimen. Overall matrix size is 4,5 x 2,7 x 2,7 cm. Bultfonteinite needles are up to 4 mm and poldervaartite xls reach 3 mm across.
