Aghbar Mine (Arhbar Mine), Aghbar, Bou Azzer District, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Province, Souss-Massa-Draâ Region, Morocco Beautiful pink scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 8 mm in length are completely covering the top of a 7.2 x 5.1 x 3 cm matrix. These are quite neat, with the prism faces opaque and the rhombohedral terminal faces transparent. The only damaged crystals that I can find are on the extreme edges of the matrix, a product of removing the specimen ... |
