Johannesschacht Mine, Wölsendorf East District (Wölsendorf - Nabburg District), Wölsendorf Fluorite mining District, Schwandorf, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany

The specimen is 10 X 8 X 5 cm in size. It is a layer of red quartz coating dark pulple fluorite. Most of the quartz crystals are 3 to 5 mm in size.

I found this little beauty at Denver(2009) in a german dealer's room(Stefan Stolte). I think it must be an older piece as I've never seen anything from the locality. I've been able to fool a couple ...
