The Cassiar Asbestos mine produced a high volume of Asbestos that was free from Tremolite inclusions. The mining here came to an abrupt end in the 90's as the price and demand of asbestos dropped significantly. The town was sold off and the buildings were hauled away and demolished. Now this ...
