Description:

Three grains ~0.5x0.5 mm of rare mineral Calcybeborosilite-(Y) - intermediate specie between Hingganite-(Y) and Datolite - from its the type locality Darai-Pioz Glacier, Alai Range, Tien Shan Mts, Tajikistan.
This is part of the holotype, collected by E.I. Semenov in 1962.
Purchasing this lot you purchase whole collection of rare species. As was shown by investigation of random grain from this package (look http://www.mindat.org/photo-375715.html and daughter photos) it is composed by usual calcybeborosilite-(Y), its LREE-rich variety, inclusions of bastnäsite-(Y) and hydroxylbastnäsite-(Nd), chernovite-(Y) and gasparite-(Ce) intergrowths. Dark-grey phases are quartz and feldspars.
