Description:

Here you can see great specimen - grain of native hexagonal α-Titanium mounted in epoxy wax. The grain isn't completely polished - all these three grains visible on SEM image in reality are connected under epoxy surface in the single dendrite.
This is the part of original material, described in the article - Glavatskih S.F., Gorshkov A.I. (1992) Natural analogue of α-Titanium in exhalations products of Big Fissure Tolbachik Eruption (Kamchatka), - Doklady RAN, v. 327, №1, pp. 126-130 (in Russian).
