Tongo-Panguma Field, Kenema District, Eastern Province, Sierra Leone
Diamond project 50 km S of Yengema.The dykes are narrow (0.2 to 0.5 m thick) but very rich in grade. The diamonds are predominantly of gem quality. To a depth of 500 m, the 4 kimberlite dykes in the Tongo mining lease may contain 9.45 million carats.
