Ref.: Min.Rec.:20(5):369-384. A lead-copper mine started about 1847 and owned by the Chester County Mining Co. The mine was on the John Chrisman farm near Charlestown. It featured 1,675 meters of workings on 3 levels, 12 shafts and 7 winzes. Closed 1854.
